Aditya Natraj
Aditya Natraj

Aditya Natraj is the Founder Director of the Kaivalya Education Foundation, focused on leadership development for social change. He has an MA in Economics and an MBA from INSEAD France. Earlier Mr. Natraj worked as a Programme Director at Pratham and as a World Bank consultant in Afghanistan. He is a mentor to the faculty program of National Centre for School Leadership (NCSL, NUEPA).

Amitav Virmani
Amitav Virmani

Amitav Virmani joined ARK in August 2008. Prior to this he was General Manager in the office of the CEO & Managing Director of Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited (RLL), India's largest pharmaceutical company. Amitav previously worked with Bristol Myers Squibb spending four years in New Jersey and then moved to India to help set up the Indian office. Amitav is also a Trustee and Manager of two family run schools that serve lesser privileged children in New Delhi. Amitav earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000, after graduating with Honors in Economics from the St. Stephen's College, New Delhi, India in 1994.

Amit Kaushik
Amit Kaushik

Amit used to be the managing director at Educomp. He was previously Director Education of Strategy, India and SAARC, with Cisco Systems (India) Pvt Ltd and Chief Operating Officer of the Pratham Education Foundation. A civil servant with the national government for twenty years, Amit worked with the Indian Railways in the area of infrastructure finance, and with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, where he was associated with the development and implementation of policies related to Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. He worked closely on the 2005 draft of the Right to Education Bill. He has worked with UNESCO India, and consulted with UNESCO Paris, Nigeria, Iraq and Lebanon, as well as UNICEF Iraq, on assignments related to literacy, planning for Education for All, non-formal education and accelerated learning.

Ashish Rajpal
Ashish Rajpal

Ashish Rajpal is the founder and Managing Director of XSEED. Ashish left an international corporate career to pursue his passion for education. Over the past decade, Ashish has led the creation and scale-up of XSEED - a innovation that has improved learning for close to half a million children in almost 1000 schools across the country. Ashish holds an MBA from XLRI and a Master’s degree in Mind, Brain & Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ashish is also a practicing teacher who teaches Grade 4 Science. In 2008 he was recognised by Education World as one of 50 top leaders changing education in India.

Ashok Thakur
Ashok Thakur

Ashok Thakur is the founder of Muni International School. A hard working, self-made man, he has been working in the field of education for last 10 years. His school has won acclaim from many organisations in India and abroad. A passionate educationist, he has won the Rajdhani Gaurav Award, 2010 by Jan Sanskriti for social justice and the Award of the year for Excellence in Education by prestigious Navratan Society in Noida, among others.

Ekta Sodha
Ekta Sodha

Ms Sodha is currently pursuing a PhD and holds a Master of Education in International Management and Leadership. She has a strong background in education as her family has been involved in education and running low cost private schools serving the low income communities of Jamnagar. She has also been involved in Education in North East of England where she works in the capacity of Project Manager for the North East region. At present, along with pursuing her PhD, she is also managing her chain of low cost private schools at Jamnagar.

Professor Geeta Gandhi Kingdon
Geeta Gandhi Kingdon

Professor Kingdon holds a D. Phil in Economics from St Antony’s College, University of Oxford. She was a Robert McNamara Fellow of the World Bank (1994-1996). Since then, she has been appointed as a Research Officer, STICERD, London School of Economics (1996-1997) and a Research Fellow, Department of Economics, University of Oxford (1997-2007). Professor Kingdon is also a part of Editorial boards of various Educational journals like Educations Economics and Review of Development Economics.She is currently the Professor of Education Economics and International Development, Institute of Education, London University.

Kulbhushan Sharma
Kulbhushan Sharma

Kulbhushan Sharma is a B( Com) graduate from Punjab University. In 1990, he started a private middle-level school in Ambala, Haryana. In 2003, he was appointed President in Haryana Private School State. He was a member of the general council in Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan(Haryana). He was also a member of the Haryana School Review Committee which helped the state to formulate new rules and regulations for the benefit of the schools and its students.

Lokesh Gupta
Lokesh Gupta

Lokesh Gupta works with Spice, focusing on new businesses as well as early stage investments with an emphasis on education. He holds a management degree from IIM-A and a bachelor's from IIT-D.

Madhu Goud Yaskhi
Madhu Goud Yaskhi

Madhu Goud Yaskhi is a member of parliament ( lok sabha), Nizamabad constituency, Andhra Pradesh. He is a member of the parliamentary standing committee on MHRD. He is also a member of Women and Child Development, Youth & sports Affairs, consultative committee on subordinate legislation, National literacy mission authority.

Mohammed Anwar
Mohammaed Anwar

Mr Anwar holds degrees in both commerce and in education from Osmania University, Andhra Pradesh.In 1987, he established M A Ideal Chain of Low Cost Private Schools in Hyderabad which gives coaching to students preparing for competitive exams. Since then, he has served as the President for Quli Qutub Shah Welfare Association (1989-1994), General Secretary of Federation of Private Schools Management (1996-2000) and Dynamic Federation of Private Schools, Andhra Pradesh (2012-). In the year 2009, he along with professor Tooley established a private limited company ' Empathy Learning Systems Private Limited' and is also its Managing Director. He has also been awarded the prestigious Vidya Ratna in 1997. Mr. Anwar is the NISA state representative for Andhra Pradesh.

Neeraj Sharma
Neeraj Sharma

Neeraj Sharma is a Chartered and Cost Accountant. He has worked in companies like Fullerton India Credit Company Limited, AIG Consumer Finance, Ballarpur Industries, Fibcom India, Bridestone India and ACC Limited in various capacities. In October 2012, he joined the Indian School Finance Company as its CEO and Managing Director.

R. C. Jain
R C Jain

A student of Shyam Lal College, Mr. Jain worked in the Union Public Service Commission from 1977-1983. In 1981, he started a primary school ‘Children Welfare Public School' in Patiala. He then worked in New Bank of India (1983-1994) and Punjab National Bank (1994-1997). In 1997, he resigned PNB and joined politics. At present, he is the President of Delhi State Public School’s Management Association (which represents majority of the private schools in New Delhi) and an Executive Member of Delhi School Education Advisory Board. Mr. Jain is also the National President for NISA (National Independent School Alliance).

Siddharth Ajith
Siddharth Ajith

Siddharth manages new initiatives for Gray Matters India. He has designed and implemented various initiatives for affordable private schools at Gray Matters, including the 'School Accreditation' program, the 'Educational Analytics Platform' and the 'School Improvement Voucher Program'. Prior to Gray Matters, Siddharth had his own venture in science education, 'Orange Vista', that focused on making science interesting for students through activity based learning kits. Siddharth started his career as an automotive engineer at Renault Nissan India and was part of the R&D team that developed the Nissan Micra and Nissan Sunny models for the Indian market. He has his BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur."

Sridhar Rajagopalan
Sridhar Rajagopalan

Sridhar Rajagopalan is an educational entrepreneur who has helped change the way student learning outcomes are seen in India. He worked in IBM India for 2.5 years before co-founding and running Eklavya School in Ahmedabad. Sridhar is a member of various central and state government committees related to education including the committee for devising model rules for the Right to Education Act in Gujarat. He is a member of NCERT’s National Expert Group on Assessment in Elementary Education (NEGAEE) and a trustee of Pratham, Gujarat and other educational institutions. Mr Rajagopalan is currently the Managing Director Of Educational Initiatives.

Tejpal Singh
Tejpal Singh

Tejpal Singh holds multiple Masters Degrees in Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Education. He started his career as a private school teacher. After a year experience, he started his own school in a village near Rajpura Town, District Patiala, Punjab in 1981. With help from his friends, he organized an educational society called ‘Rural Educational and Welfare Society’. He has also set-up an organization for schools called 'Punjab Private School Organization' which looks into educational and administrative problems faced by schools in Punjab. Since the last two years, he has started a new concept of 'Associated Schools' in which the government assigns all unrecognized schools the status of an 'associated school'.
